Outreach Work of CIBU in the Fall Semester of 2013-2014

November 20, Dr. Yi Liu and Prof. Jiang Yu visited Istanbul University, and had a talk with Prof. Eyup Saritas, an expert on China’s minority groups. Prof. Saritas just returned from a China trip accompanying their President who signed the cooperation agreement with Shanghai University. December 6, Miss Linlin Liu, a Chinese teacher from Dogus University visited CIBU, and discussed the possible cooperation with Dr. Yi Liu and Prof. Jiang Yu. CIBU has supported the summer camp activities of the primary and secondary schools of Dogus; further connections will be developed in the university level. December 10, Dr. Yi Liu together with two volunteer teachers, Qiang Sa and Mengwei Zhu, visited the Chinese class at Koc University. CIBU had a close contact with Koc University in the past two years; this semester, Ms. Guiyuan Yang is responsible for the Chinese class there. December 19, Dr. Yi Liu together with volunteer teachers and assistants of CIBU visited the Chinese class at Sabanci University, and had a nice talk with Ms. Chunlan Wang and the students.
