The opening ceremony of the "Turkish Police Chinese Training Course" organized by CIBU was successfully held

   On April 26, 2018, the opening ceremony of the first "Turkish Police Chinese Training Course" was successfully held in the conference hall of Ataturk Airport Police Station in Turkey.      The Chinese language training course lasted for three months and was supported by the Chinese Consulate General in Istanbul. 2018 is the tourism year of China and Turkey. It is estimated that more than 2 million Chinese tourists will travel in Turkey. The training course organized Confucius Institute at Bogazici University(CIBU) for the Turkish Police will provide great convenience to Chinese tourists traveling to Turkey. This will promote tourism cooperation between China and Turkey and the economic and cultural exchanges and development.      Deputy Governor of Istanbul, Chief Administrative Officer of Ataturk Airport Mehmet Ali Ulutaş, Consul General in Istanbul Cui Wei, Director of Istanbul Tourist Police Substation Murat Çetiner , director of the Airport Branch, Emer Erdoğan made separate remarks. Mohammad Ali said, “This Chinese class is opened because of the increasing influence of China in Turkey and the world. The 3-month course is beneficial to Turkish police. It is also a good opportunity.” Consul General Cui Wei talked about the Ataturk Airport functioned as a window of Turkey. The Chinese standard of the airport police is also an important manifestation of its internationalization. The Chinese Consulate General in Istanbul is very supportive of the opening of the Chinese training class. Murat Cetin, also said: “Chinese is a very beautiful language and it is not as difficult as it seems. It is also one of the five official languages of the United Nations. Learning Chinese is very helpful for our work. ”      After the opening ceremony, Zheng Dan, the teacher from CIBU gave the first Chinese class. Although it was the first time for them to learn Chinese. They were already able to make simple greetings in Chinese at the end of the course. The trainees were full of confidence in learning Chinese.
