Delegation of Shanghai University Visited CIBU

On October 23rd, 2013, a delegation from Shanghai University visited Confucius Institute at Bogazici University. The delegation was led by the Director of President Office, Mr. Wu Jiayan; delegates include: Vice Director of International Office, Dr. Ni Lan, Dean of School of Economics, Prof. Shen Yao, and Vice Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Prof. Feng Qi. The new Chinese Director of CIBU, Dr. Yi Liu, together with the teachers and Chinese students hosted the delegation. Dr. Liu reported to the delegation the current work and future development of CIBU. Then the delegation visited the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, and had conversations with the Dean, department Head and the relevant faculties. One initiative of this meeting is to develop further exchange and cooperation work between the two institutions, under the general agreement of CIBU. At last, on behalf of Shanghai University, Mr. Wu Jiayan sent the congratulation letter to Bogazici University for its 150th anniversary.
