“Chinese Silk Exhibition” at Boğaziçi University

April 16-18, “Chinese Silk Exhibition” was held at Boğaziçi University, a joint event of the Embassy of PRC in Ankara, Turkey-China Friendship Foundation and Confucius Institute at Boğaziçi University. Vice Rector of Boğaziçi University Prof. Lale Akarun, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of PRC in Ankara Mr. Zhu Zihao, President of Turkey-China Friendship Foundation in Istanbul Mr. Sezgin Dönmez, and Vice President of Shanghai University Prof. Wang Min, attended the opening ceremony, and shared their understanding of silk and embroidery, as well as the cultural and academic between two countries. 36 Suxiu pieces were exhibited, a donation from the Suzhou city of Jiangsu Province, China, which attracted hundreds of faculties and students from Boğaziçi University.
