CAFIU Delegation Visited CIBU

On May 9, 2014, CAFIU Delegation (Chinese Association for International Understanding) led by Mme. Wang Zhizhen, Vice-Chairwoman of 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) and Vice-President of CAFIU, visited Boğaziçi University, accompanied by Consul General of PRC in Istanbul Mr. Zhang Qingyang and Chinese Director of CIBU Dr. Liu Yi. Mme. Wang Zhizhen first met with Prof. Lale Akarun, Vice-Rector of Boğaziçi University and exchanged ideas on many subjects like Chian-Turkey Relations and Cultural Exchanges.

Later, Mme. Wang Zhizhen paid a visit to Confucius Institute at Boğaziçi University. After watching the new video of CIBU and listening to the short brief introduction of CIBU by Dr. Liu Yi, Mme. Wang Zhizhen praised CIBU’s positive role of spreading Chinese culture in Turkey and proposed some precious suggestions for the future development of CIBU. At the end of the meeting, both sides changed gifts.
