Boğaziçi Konfüçyüs Enstitüsü Öğrencileri 2025 Çin Başkonsolosu Bursunda Yine Büyük Başarı Elde Etti!

On December 29, the 2025 Chinese Consul General Scholarship Award Ceremony was held at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Turkey Branch in Istanbul. The event was hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in Istanbul. Prof. Fatih Usluer, Vice Rector for External Relations; Ms. Zhou Qianwen, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Boğaziçi University; and a delegation of 15 teachers and students attended the ceremony.

In the 2025 scholarship selection, the Confucius Institute achieved outstanding results, earning 1 First Prize (İrem Öcal), 8 Second Prizes, and 15 Third Prizes, as well as the Outstanding Instructor Award presented to Ms. Feng Jieru.

During the ceremony, student representatives İrem Öcal and İlayda Hacıosmanoğlu delivered speeches in fluent Chinese, sharing their study and life experiences in Shanghai, China. Consul General Wei Xiaodong warmly interacted with the award recipients, encouraging them to continue their journey in Chinese language learning and to actively promote cultural exchange between China and Turkey.
