Spring Outing of Confucius Institute at Bogazici University

From February 22nd, 2013 to February 24th, Confucius Institute at Bogazici University(CIBU)organized a spring outing to North Cyprus a small island in Mediterranean Sea for all the staff. The blue sky, the green grassland and the long coastline impressed all. The team visited the borderline of North Cyprus and South Cyprus and the war relics in the city of Nicosia and the Selimiye Mosque first built in the 13th century. The hotel is along the sea coast with a great view of the blue sea and the long beach. All the staff enjoyed the tour.

The tour provides a good opportunity for the staff who are always busy with their work in CIBU to relax themselves and to appreciate the exotic natural scenery and historical sites of Turkey. During the journey, all staff took care of each other, enjoyed the delicious food and beautiful scenery and talked a lot about their personal experiences, just like a big family. The tour gives a good chance for the staff to know each other better, which improves the group cohesiveness.
