New Staffs of CIBU Visited Dean of Arts and Sciences of Bogazici University

November 1, 2013, Dr. Yi Liu, the new Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Bogazici University, together with the new volunteer teachers of this year, Mr. Sa Qiang and Mr. Li Tianju, visited Prof. Gulen Aktas Greenwood, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Bogaizici University; Turkish Directors of CIBU, Prof. Selcuk Esenbel and Prof. Arzu Ozturkmen, as well as officers from Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, Mr.Zhang Tonghui and Ms. Zhu Dan also joined the visit. Prof. Greewood welcomed the new staffs and CIBU and showed her concern with the development of Chinese language teaching. Dr. Yi Liu sent to Prof. Greewood the new published Confucianism and Spiritual Tradition in Modern China and Beyond, to which he himself is a contributor. Prof. Esenbel introduced the situation of Chinese studies in Turky, and the further development of Chinese program at Bogaizici University. At last, the CIBU staffs sent their invitation to Prof. Greenwood, to welcome her to visit CI in the near future.
