Dr. Yi Liu and Prof. Jiang Yu visited METU Confucius Institute and Ankara University

November 30, 2013, under the invitation from Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University, Dr. Yi Liu and Prof. Jiang Yu attended the 3rd Training Session for Local Chinese Teachers in Turkey. Dr. Liu moderated the discussion at the end of the training; Prof. Yu shared the experiences of CIBU. In the meantime, Dr. Liu and Prof. Yu visited Prof. Blunt Okay and his team at Ankara University, the most experienced institution of Chinese language teaching in Turkey now. In a talk of three hours, they discussed the problems of Turkish institutions of Chinese language teaching, and the possible cooperation in the near future. It is the first outreach visit after Dr. Yi Liu took the responsibility of Chinese Director of CIBU; the new team will continue this move to strengthen the exchange and cooperation with other similar institutions.
